In die metallurgie- en gieterybedryf is nie-ysterhoudende metale metale of legerings wat nie yster (ferriet) in aansienlike hoeveelhede bevat nie. In vergelyking met ysterhoudende metale, het nie-ysterhoudende metale baie voordele van lae gewig (bv. aluminium), hoër geleidingsvermoë (bv. koper), nie-magnetiese eienskap of weerstand teen korrosie (bv. sink). Die mees gebruikte nie-ysterhoudende metale vir gietstukke sluit in aluminium, koper, nikkel, chroom, molibdeen, mangaan, magnesium en sink, en legerings soos koper en brons.
